Reoccurring Google Wallet blocked, get the PlayIntegrity Fix

I was running PixelExperience customer ROM on my Poco X3 Pro, but there was no rom supporter/maintainer anymore.

Switched again to crDroid. It has lots of stuff, maybe even more. And Safety-net was told to be running okay.

Running Android 14 now – sweet – crDroidAndroid-14.0-20231225-vayu-v10.0.zip

However it seems Google is actively scanning in the Google Wallet for specific device key or something. Lot’s of complains of customer rom users.

Hi, I have an issue with google wallet. It says my phone doesn’t meet security requirements only AFTER I try to add a card to the app. If I check beforehand, requirements are ok. And I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

Tried couple ofPlayIntegrity Fix proposed fixes with MagiskHide, Play Integrity Fix, Safetynet Fix and Shamiko (including some combinations between those), nothing seems to work.

Read  github, google is banning fingerprints left and right, for now, all you can do is to wait if anyone finds a way to circumvent this, but it may not be possible anymore, this is rooted and nonrooted, it may be entirely possible that this stuff will no longer work on custom roms anymore (banking, google pay, anything that requires passing safetynet)

How to get it

for PlayIntegrity you first need Magisk installed.

Custom Recovery

This installation method is deprecated and is maintained with minimum effort. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Installing using custom recoveries is only possible if your device has boot ramdisk. Installing Magisk through custom recoveries on modern devices is no longer recommended. If you face any issues, please use the Patch Image method.

Download the Magisk APK
Rename the .apk file extension to .zip, for example: Magisk-v24.0.apk → Magisk-v24.0.zip. If you have trouble renaming the file extension (like on Windows), use a file manager on Android or the one included in the custom recovery to rename the file.

Flash the zip just like any other ordinary flashable zip.

  • Device boot to recovery mode
  • adb sideload magisk-v24.zip
  • Reboot device

Launch the Magisk app; it will show a dialog asking for reinstallation.

Do the reinstallation directly within the app and reboot (if you are using MTK devices that lock the boot partition after boot, please patch the boot image and flash it by custom recovery or fastboot).
